The taste reminds me of strawberry shortcakes. It has real strawberry seeds, too.
Not that I’m fond of strawberry seeds. It just amazed me that it has. I don’t know the rules of baking, but somehow the idea to include it adds an authenticity to the taste.
I couldn’t resist lighting the candles that came with the cake.
Lighting the candles adds a little drama, don’t you think? Plus, it’s fun blowing them out.
